Julie London was a good singer of ballads. She worked effectively in a number of jazz contexts. As you might imagine from this album cover, her musical abilities were sometimes overshadowed by her looks. Such album covers seem exploitative today. They sold a lot of records in the late 50's. Original Julie London album covers today fetch high prices.

This album, with nice arrangements by Andre Previn, pays tribute to a several different vocal artists.
