Non-individualistic Internalism and its Applicability to Science
Tetsuji Iseda, Nagoya University
12:05 p.m., 817R Cathedral of Learning
Abstract:
The internalism/externalism debate in epistemology leaves out an
interesting third option, non-individualistic internalism. This
option seems to be a fruitful position when we look at scientific
practices. In this talk, I try to build a bridge between this abstract
epistemological issue and concrete examples in science.
