| This shot shows a couple of levels of the "tel," one built over the previous one. This is basically the "structure" of the tel. |

| An excavated stone manger used at one point in the history of the tel. It looked to be just the right size for a newborn baby to lie in the hay. Beside it is a "hinge" rock. The upright post of a gate was set into the carved out space so that the gate could be swung open or closed. |
