This basket was filled with fruit awaiting us at the guest house. The large melon-like fruit is a pommelo, which is like a grapefruit - but not as tart. The red one is dragonfruit and inside the fruit looks to be bespeckeled with sesame seeds. To the left is a still green mango. The dark blue fruit are mangosteens (very sweet - Arlene's favorite). The green pear-shaped fruit are rose apples. The long brown fruit is called a tamarind (Wayne thinks it tastes something like a date). And the two in front are called "sala" (very tart taste that we didn't like much).
