Online Cataloging Workshop
In the morning of the Online Cataloging workshop we met in a classroom. These are participants in that workshop.

Dr. Tawit Chitsomboon, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, opened the workshop.

Prof. Songphorn Tajaroensuk, Dean of the Institute of Social Technology (of which the School of Information Technology is part) welcomed the participants to the workshop.

Arlene had a complete computer set-up for giving a PowerPoint presentation and for accessing the Web for demonstration purposes.

In the afternoon we met in a computer lab equipped with 60 computers.

The students practiced using OCLC, and here Arlene is providing them with contact information for OCLC Asia Pacific.

At the end of the workshop, a certificate of completion was presented to each participant. (Note lack of shoes on persons standing in this picture. See below.)

Another participant receives her certificate.

It is common to remove one's shoes before entering homes, temples, and any other place where there is concern about tracking in dirt. These shoes are outside the computer room where the workshops were held.

The Online Cataloging Workshop participants gathered at the end of the day for a group portrait.
