- Capital punishment – 388 hits with keyword anywhere – 225 with keywords in subject only. That’s 58% of all the retrievals retrieved only because humans added the subject heading after having done subject analysis of the works.
- If you look up “death penalty” you get 153 hits. Only 10 of these do not have the subject heading “Capital punishment.” 2 of the 10 are not about the death penalty, having the word “death” and “penalty” in separate places, and the others have only one of many articles in the table of contents that is about the death penalty.
