Alireza Javadian Sabet

I am a Ph.D. student in School of Computing and Information, University of Pittsburgh. I received my bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Azad University, Iran, and master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI). I worked on analyzing social media as my master’s thesis and joined Data Science Lab @POLIMI afterwards to continue my research. In 2019, I also joined DEEP-SE Lab @POLIMI as a research fellow and I am working on the design of context-aware recommender systems in the domain of transportation.I am interested in machine learning, data mining, and combinatorics, and their applications in social science for knowledge extraction from social networks – specifically, modeling, graph representation learning, and unsupervised methods in networks.
I am also interested in designing context-aware recommender systems and optimization techniques. My other interests include algorithmic design  and developing NLP techniques.
