Album I love Fats Waller for his songwriting and piano playing, but most of all for all the fun he brought to music. Waller died prematurely in 1943 (sadly, he had a little too much fun eating, drinking and carousing). This album of 1941 recordings was released by RCA in 1959. I love his humorous vocal on "The Sheik of Araby" or as Fats puts it, ". . . de Shook, de Shake, de Sheik of Ar-a-bee. . . ."
