Efficient, Transparent, and Fair Allocation of Spectrum Resources
The increasing demand for wireless communication in the 6 GHz band, driven by Wi-Fi 6E and emerging 6G technologies, requires innovative solutions for spectrum allocation. Traditional centralized spectrum management faces significant challenges:
These limitations often lead to underutilization of spectrum and conflicts among users.
To address the challenges of traditional spectrum management, this project introduces a decentralized spectrum sharing system enabled by blockchain technology. The following diagram illustrates how the system operates:
Figure 1: Overview of the Decentralized Spectrum Sharing System
The decentralized spectrum sharing system involves multiple servers and spectrum slices, granting access based on priority. Type One users (Priority Users) are allocated resources with high priority, while Type Two users (Unlicensed Users) are granted access conditionally.
Our system leverages blockchain technology to automate spectrum allocation and ensure compliance with regulations. The architecture is designed to handle requests, store metadata, and allocate spectrum resources efficiently.

The architecture comprises several key components:
This architecture ensures fair and transparent spectrum resource distribution, real-time spectrum allocation, and seamless user notifications through blockchain's decentralized nature.
The implemented prototype demonstrated:
Testing showed the system's feasibility for real-world applications in 6 GHz bands focuses on Wi-Fi 6E and 6G networks.
Future improvements will focus on scalability, debugging tools, and real-world dynamic policy compliance.
