NOTES LABS

In class lab #8, take lab #7 and

  • request the user enter their age, height, and weight. (yes i know that is odd to ask on a real estate page!)
  • have them click a button to display their BMI.

calculate BMI by dividing weight in pounds (lb) by height in inches (in) squared and multiplying by a conversion factor of 703. When using a handheld calculator, if your calculator has a square function, divide weight (lb) by height (in) squared, multiply by 703, and round to one decimal place.
  • the data should be collected and stored in an OBJECT.

In class lab #7, take lab #6 and

  • Incorporate a form that asks the user how much do they want to spend on their house, how much will they put down on their house and for 15 or 30 years loan. Then calculate and disply the monthly payments. WE WILL NOT TRY TO DETERMINE ACTUAL PAYMENTS SINCE WE DON'T WANT TO CALCULATE INTEREST!! :)
  • Save in lab7 directory inside your cs134 directory.

In class lab #6, take lab #5 and

  • Incorporate some JavaScript on the page of your choice. The JavaScript can be anything you find online.
  • On other page, incorportate some JavaScript that YOU create yourself. It should be pretty basic at this point.
  • Save in lab6 directory inside your cs134 directory.

In class lab #5

-Create a 3 page website for your real estate complany. Lay out each page with external CSS. Include a CSS navigation bar. Also, include a page where you ask customers for their name, address, phone, requested dates, price range, and any comments they have. Collect the data in a form. At this point just collect the data, soon we will do something with it. Save in lab5 directory inside your cs134 directory.
