John C. Camillus

Dr. John C. Camillus is the Donald R. Beall Professor of Strategic Management at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining the University of Pittsburgh in 1977, he was on the faculty of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, in India and was promoted to Professor of Management there in 1975. At the Katz School he served as Associate Dean from 1982 through 1990.


He earned his doctorate in business administration at Harvard University in 1972. His prior degrees are in management and in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, respectively.
He has published extensively both books and articles in professional journals. His current research is based on a technology enabled-learning alliance of corporate strategic planners called PlanNet. To learn more about PlanNet click on the image below:
