Corrigendum: The statement of Proposition 6.3.7 is correct, but the proof is incorrect because the first sequence displayed in the proof is not short exact. A correct proof can be assembled by comparing the modules used to define the degree of a finite flat group scheme and its associated Breuil-Kisin module.
