Galindo: Un sitio a cielo abierto de cazadores/recolectores en la Sabana de Bogotá (Colombia)

by María Pinto Nolla

Galindo is a natural terrace. Its excavation showed an open air occupation dating to the Preceramic period in the Sabana de Bogotá. There were four occupations, the first two very temporary, from 8745 BP until its abandonment around 5000 BP. It was later occupied by agricultural, ceramic-producing peoples of the Herrera period and more recent. This study deals also with the utilization of faunal resources as well as with the lithic industry. In Spanish.
