How to Order
by Carlos Augusto Sánchez
A report on the agricultural productive processes expressed in the long history of the prehispanic populations that inhabited the present day Municipio de Isnos, in the Alto Magdalena. The research covers from the first agricultural communities of the 10th century B.C. to the populations that owned the land at the beginning of the 16th century A.D. It looks at the characteristics and reasons for the agricultural practices and the intensive use of the soils as a particular fact but one that is relevant at the regional level. At the same time it tries to explain the economic characteristics that went together with the prehispanic sociopolitical process in the region, as well as providing fodder for the discussion on the versatility of trajectories that end up in social and economic inequalities in the processes of sociocultural change.
