They must remain up to date on all of the newest technologies and advances in order to remain proficient. Their knowledge of devices can advance the ability of hospitals to provide health care.

     Biomedical Application Engineers job is to market a product for a company. Also they are focused on the sales of that product. They take biomedical supplies and sell the product to spread the technology.
     They need to be a technical expert and capable of interpersonal communication. Their ability to sell the product must come from an intrinsic knowledge of the product. They must be well versed in biomedical technologies in order to be efficient in their business.
