Anthracite
Anthracite is metamorphosed coal. It is harder, shinier, and breaks with a more conchoidal (curved) fracture than normal (bituminous) coal. |
This anthracite shows the black color, shiny surfaces, and curved conchoidal fractures that characterize good anthracite coal.
