Dr. Sereika is currently working
on the use of hierarchical empirical Bayes modeling of data that are longitudinally collected and have
an empirical distribution which is J-shaped. The methodology that is developed will then be applied to
medication adherence from a compliance study of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr. Sereika's areas of research interest include survival analysis, nonparametric statistics, longitudinal data analysis, compliance, and empirical bayes modeling.

Dr. Sereika received her B.S. from Illinois Benedictine College, she also received her M.P.H. and Ph. D. from the University of Michigan.
