Professor of Romance Studies, Cornell University

Bruno Bosteels is the author of Alain Badiou, une trajectoire polémique (La Fabrique, 2009); Badiou and Politics (Duke University Press, 2011); & The Actuality of Communism (Verso, 2011). He is currently preparing two new books, Marx and Freud in Latin America and After Borges: Literature and Antiphilosophy. He has translated Alain Badiou's Theory of the Subject (Continuum, 2009). He is the author of dozens of articles on modern Latin American literature and culture, & on contemporary European philosophy and political theory. He currently serves as the general editor of Diacritics.
