The word fine is used in many different ways. Most of the definitions are not too uncommonly used. This word can even be used when a person wants to describe a nice looking object: an example is a car. That car is �fine� looking.
Other words can be substituted for fine. They have one of the same meanings. They also are slang words. They all are adjectives and mean �good, very good, great, excellent, attractive, and nice� (College). Even though these words all have the same meaning, they also have other different meaning to them. Here are a few examples of sentences of words that have multiple meanings. �Fine�, as in He is so �fine�, should be admitted into the Standard American English Dictionary using my words: good looking, sexy, and hot, because it is extremely easy to understand in that terminology, it can and is used commonly by many people from all ages. Although there are many definitions to the word �fine�, a reader should be careful to read the context clues so they get the full effect of the sentence and understand what meaning the sentence is using.
