I am an avid board game player. I host two monthly board game events; one at Mr. Nice Guy Games in Monroeville (every 2nd Monday of a month), the other at the Union Project in Highland Park/East Liberty (every 3rd Wednesday of a month). My favorite games (at least as of this writing) are Ticket To Ride, Carcassonne, Lords of Waterdeep, and 7 Wonders.
I also enjoy short road trips, tunnels, abandoned roads, railroads, zoos, birds, photography, genealogy, Western Pennsylvania history, progressive rock, and random walks. Sometimes I do all of those at once.
Sometimes you'll see or hear me called "Quuxum" (KWUCKS-um). If you're here at Pitt, you probably shouldn't refer to me as such, but anywhere else is fine. That's a name I've been using mainly online but also among friends for nearly two decades.
