Boolean Query Prototypes

Over the course of the project we developed several prototype models.  After reviewing the models in our group we presented the final two prototypes to our client.  Once a final selection was chosen work proceeded to complete the application code for the applet.

During the prototyping phase development work was started on features of the applications that were not completely dependant on the final interface design.

By prototyping the models we were able to experiment with several designs and ideas until we found two that we thought satisfied the applications requirement definition.  The prototypes were developed in java.  While the screen elements worked there was nothing behind the interface.  Our goal during the prototyping stage was to weed out any significant problems of the user interface.  By concentrating first on the interface, development was easier to complete since no additional changes had to be made to the interface.  Initial feedback from our client was positive.
