James Cassing, Professor of Economics, lives three blocks from his office in the Schenley Farms area of Pittsburgh. His research and teaching interests include international economics, and the economics of deregulation and reform. He has recently advised governments on policy reform packages in Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, Kenya, Viet Nam, and Southern Africa, and enjoys bringing these experiences into the classroom. He is on the editorial board of The Journal of International Trade and Economic Development.
