Feb. 24: Yes, we have class! We'll talk about Now What, your internships, and constructing resumes and portfolios. Please read the third packet from Now What and do the exercises.

March 3: No class.

March 10: No class, Spring Break.

March 17: We do have class. We'll talk about Now What and writing samples from Mike and Carrie. Please bring a copy of your resume and a completed portfolio plan with you to class to leave with me. For next week: read the last chunk of Now What.

March 24: We will meet in the G27 computer classroom (in the Cathedral) at 5:15 (note earlier start time) to discuss electronic portfolios.

March 31: We have class. We'll talk about Now What, your internships, and writing samples from Alyse and Alie.

April 7: We have class. We'll talk about Now What, your internships, and writing samples from Eric and Katelyn.

April 14: We have our final class. We'll talk about Now What, your internships, and writing samples from Amanda.

Your final work is due on Thursday, April 23 by 5:00. Here's what's due:

Your portfolio pieces collected from your internship

A 750-word reflection on the implications of your internship experience for your career plans.

If you don't want to pick up your portfolio after finals week, you are welcome to give me a photocopy of your journal. There's no need to give me a fancy binder for your portfolio--just a binder clip holding everything together is fine.
