About the lab

The Diversity and Equity Lab, directed by Kevin R. Binning, PhD, investigates how to harness the benefits of demographic and ideological diversity in educational, political, and organizational contexts. Our work applies experimental social psychological methods to uncover when, why, and how diversity fosters individual and collective thriving.
