CHIPPED STONE EVIDENCE FROM THE COPAN VALLEY AND THE LA ENTRADA REGION
DATABASE

This dataset complements the book Ancient Maya State, Urbanism, Exchange, and Craft Specialization. Chipped Stone Evidence from the Copán Valley and the La Entrada Region, Honduras, by Kazuo Aoyama (available from University of Pittsburgh Latin American Archaeology Publications). It includes detailed information on the lithic analysis performed by the author on chipped stone artifacts from the Early Classic and Late Classic periods (Chapters 7 and 8).

These data files are organized in two formats: Excel format files, that can be read directly, and ASCII text files that can be easily imported to an application program such as a database manager or statistics package.
