Nick's Lionel Mint Car Reference Site

I created this web site to serve as a reference site for information concerning Lionel Mint Cars.  After collecting Mint Cars for a few years, I searched the Internet for more information.  I have made reasonable attempts to ensure I put out accurate information regarding Lionel Mint Cars, however, if my information is incorrect, or if I have left information out, please email me and I will try to make the necessary corrections or additions as time permits.  There is no affiliation between this web site or its creator, and Lionel in any way, and images on this website have been collected from the public domain or supplied from the website creator.  I am merely a hobbyist trying to help out fellow collectors.

This is a list of what I consider to be "true" mint cars - ones with "precious cargo" in them. I have listed some others at the bottom of the page. I have not included aquarium cars, such as the 6-19681 Alien Suspension Car (or the 6-29609 version of the Alien Suspension Car).

Since I created this page, I was contacted by Joe Endicott who told me about Bob Mintz's e-Train Page. Bob's treatment of mint cars is far more thorough than my own, so be sure to check it out. Thanks Joe! Also, special thanks to John and Diane for inspiring me to get off my butt and update my page!
