The Center for Philosophy of Science will hold a workshop, Reasoning with Cases in the Social Sciences, November 11-12, 2011. More …
We have limited support for qualified graduate students in a philosophy or philosophy of science program wishing to attend. We offer lodging for one night at a nearby hotel or reimbursement of up to $140 against receipts for travel-related expenses. Qualified graduate students are advanced in their graduate programs and working on a dissertation directly related to the workshop.

The Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh announces a new Senior Visiting Fellowship Program. Applications are invited from senior scholars in philosophy of science who wish to spend an academic year in the Center. One fellowship will be awarded in the coming year.
A stipend of $80,000 is offered.
