Excursion to Ven

On the afternoon of July 12, our group will make an excursion to the island of Ven, Sweden for dinner, a visit to the observatory of Tycho Brahe, and other activities. You can read more about Ven here:

 A bus will depart from Lund Cathedral.  You do not need to bring passports.  We will provide a light lunch on the bus or on the ferry from Landskrona to Bäckviken, Ven

A short bus ride takes us to the Tycho Brahe Museum, where there will be a guided tour:  http://www.tychobrahe.com/en/818-2/

4:45 – 5:15

A special guided tour of the Stjärneborg observatory for a more in-depth presentation of Tycho Brahe’s instruments

Both groups will be transported to the village of Kyrkbacken, where you will enjoy a buffet in Ella’s Restaurant by the sea and small harbour.  This is a very nice area for a stroll or/and a swim!
