Jillian McGuckin is an associate project engineer at Emerson Automation Solutions who works in Thermal Power Projects. She was a first-generation college student who obtained a degree in mechanical engineering at The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She believes in the importance of uplifting women and creating a safe space for all in engineering. In her free time, she runs, reads, and volunteers with the Pittsburgh Prison Book Project.
