What is FiERCE?

FiERCE: Females in Engineering Reaching Career Empowerment

The FiERCE Forum is a conference geared towards women pursuing careers in STEM including high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, as well as professionals in industry and academia. Allies and advocates for women in STEM are also encouraged to attend. This year, the session tracks will include Finding Your Voice, Innovating Up, Evolving Education, Revitalize & Refresh, and Collaborative Communication. Our speakers will be sharing their experiences and advice, so join us for an inspiring and empowering day of networking and professional development!

NEW THIS YEAR: We are excited to announce that this year we will also be having an in-person networking session in the evening following the conference from 6:30-7:30 pm! This event will take place in the William Pitt Union, and due to covid restrictions, it will be limited to Pitt students and faculty.

Who: Everyone is welcome to attend!

In-Person Networking Event

When: Saturday, February 5, 2022
Time: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Where: William Pitt Union
Who: Pitt Students and Faculty

Both events of the FiERCE Forum are free to attend. If you are interested in attending either, please register by Friday February 4, 2022.
