introduced such an offering. The Software Engineering
concentration has been established as a culmination of five years of
study on my part, both independently and at the following
institutions:
|
UCLA School of
Engineering , where I attended a course in Software Quality
Assurance in the summer of l985;
|
|
Carnegie-Mellon
University Software Engineering Institute (SEI), of which
the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is an Academic
Affiliate. I attended five conferences at the SEI between
1986 and 1990; |

The Wang Institute
of Graduate Studies in Software Engineering, where I was
granted a scholarship in Software Engineering Education
(July-August 1986);

|
The University of
Pittsburgh School of Library and Information Science, where
I am enrolled in the Certificate of Advanced Study in
