Ryan
originally grew up in New Jersey and went to undergraduate school at
Long Island University and graduated in 2004 with a BS in chemistry.
While at LIU, he worked as a research assistant for Trevor Sears at
Brookhaven National Lab as part of the SULI program sponsored by the
Department of Energy. He then spent the next two years working in the
pharmaceutical industry for a contract analytical company. Ryan joined
the Pratt group in the beginning of 2007 and began working on the new
MODR FTMW project. He is looking to develop it as an analytical
technique for studying biomolecules.
