CIDDE Workshops for Spring Term Announced

The University of Pittsburgh Center for Instructional Development and Distance Education invites University instructors to register for one or more of its Teaching Excellence workshops. These workshops are an opportunity to relax and enjoy conversation with your colleagues about teaching, learning, and faculty life. All instructors, including TAs and TFs, are invited to attend.

Pro-Active Career Planning for Junior Faculty: This workshop is the kick-off event of a new CIDDE initiative to support and engage Pitt's newer faculty in conversation about their careers and about ways to build their comfort and satisfaction with teaching and learning as part of those careers. The workshop will address participants' career-related goals, concerns, priorities, and questions related to the three "stages" of university professors' careers.
