2. Compute the channel capacity for the channel
3. For the channel below, write a computer program or a spreadsheet function
that will compute the mutual information as a function of the probability
p, that a 0 is transmitted. Then plot the function. Either with a
program, or "by hand", use the function to find the optimal value of p
to 4 decimal places. The value of the mutual information at this value of
p is the channel capacity.
