On CNNs for Selection Inference

A manuscript on how preprocessing shapes what a CNN learns and its capacity to discover novel selection patterns for the task of detecting selective sweeps. Came out of the Selection Inference with CNNs project. Under the mentorship of Lauren Sugden, I conceived the project, wrote and revised the manuscript, and implemented all simulations and code in Python.
