MEMBERSHIP

There are 2 levels of membership: Associate and National. All members must become Associate members. In addition, if you meet the requirements, you can become a National member. If you do not meet the requirements for Associate membership, but would still like to join AED, please contacts one of the chapter officers, and we will be happy to have you participate in AED until your membership can be instated.

Please make all checks payable to University of Pittsburgh. You can bring your completed application materials to AED meetings or mail them to: Dr. Bill Yates, University of Pittsburgh, Department of Otolaryngology, Eye and Ear Institute, Rm 519, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. 

To become an Associate member of AED (of Pennsylvania Gamma):

·      2.8 cumulative GPA (not required for first semester freshmen)

·      $25 associate membership fee to be paid each year

·      Completed an Associate Membership Form (pdf)

 

 

 

To become a National Member of AED:

 

·      3.2 GPA (both overall and science)

·      45 credit hours (and at least a Sophomore)

·      $75 to receive certificate from national office (one-time fee)

·      $15 to our chapter, Pennsylvania Gamma, to be paid each year

·      Completed a National Membership Form (pdf)
