What is MalaCCa?
Founding Members of Malacca, 2009
The Malaysian Cultural Camaraderie (MalaCCa) is a student organization at The University of Pittsburgh. Founded by merely 8 Malaysians in 2009, MalaCCa's main purpose is to introduce the Malaysian culture to the Pittsburgh campus community as well as to provide an organization representing Malaysian students. MalaCCa, alongside with BUDAYA (CMU) and Asian Students Alliance, handles cultural events throughout the academic year in the Pittsburgh community. Our ultimate goal, apart from introducing the Malaysian culture, is to foster a strong friendship in the Malaysian community.
