Our membership is open to everyone who wants to have fun and learn more about biology.  There are two major types of memberships: regular member and associate member.

A regular member needs to have completed at least one upper biology course and has a biology QPA of 3.0 or higher.  There is also a $30 national due that is paid only once, and chapter dues that are paid every semester and help support the chapter's activities.  The current chapter due is $10 and it is subject to future changes.

An associate member is one who is interested in biology but has not fulfilled the regular membership requirements.  There is no QPA or academic major restrictions on associate members.  As an associate member, the national due that is paid once is $20, and the chapter due that is paid every semester is the current one that is set to $10.

A promoted member is simply an associate member that fulfills the regular membership requirements and wants to upgrade from an associate to a regular member.  This upgrade of membership requires a $10 national due that is paid only once.
