Welcome to
my website!

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering
at the University of Pittsburgh under advisor Dr. Albert To
graduating in August 2024.

I am actively seeking full-time positions in a related
field that will allow me to utilize the skills I have
developed throughout the course of my Ph.D.

My research focuses on using data-driven methods to improve the
fidelity and efficiency of thermal process simulations for
laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) additive manufacturing. This
focus has allowed me to develop strong skills in the areas of
finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD),
data analysis, machine learning (ML), and general programming.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. I love Pittsburgh so much that I attended my undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Throughout my undergraduate career, I had several valuable experiences, such as being a Calculus tutor for historically underrepresented engineers, a student grader for Applied Thermodynamics, an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Bioengineering Department, and completing three co-op rotations at Curtiss-Wright EMD in Cheswick, PA focusing on naval nuclear pump analysis, design, and development.

Some of my hobbies include skiing, running and weightlifting, pickleball, golfing, hiking, listening to music, and watching YouTube videos about spacetime into the early hours of the morning.
