Healthcare system in Cuba is universal, free, and accessible with a great emphasis put on prevention and information sharing. In the past several decades Cuba achieved significant rise in life expectancy and significant reduction in maternal and infant mortality. Almost all of these achievements may be attributed to prevention activities. Presented slide demonstrates the achievements of vaccination programs in Cuba. Similar achievements can be observed in many other countries including Sweden, Finland, and some parts of India. Clearly at the last half of this century prevention is still having a powerful positive impact in most countries
