His main titles are �Discurso a la Nacion Mexicana� Speech to the Mexican nation, (1922); Doctrinas e ideas� Doctrines and ideas; (1924), La filosofia de Husserl� Husserl�s philosophy, (1934); and �El peligro del hombre� Man�s danger, (1942). His thought exerted a remarkable influence upon the Mexican way of thinking during his time. He was part of the �Ateneo de la Juventud� next to Jos� Vasconcelos, Alfonso Reyes and other philosophers who supported without reservation the rise of the 1910 revolution.
