1. Maintaining core functions
of the
Office of
Minority Health (OMH)
without loss of priority, resources, or visibility -- Promoting health and preventing disease in Indian Country (i.e., American Indian and Alaska Native communities, their sovereign governments and other institutions in the U.S.)
2. Developing CDC-wide health disparities elimination strategies, policies, goals, and programs -- Defining disparities elimination sub-goals for each health impact goal -- Monitoring and reporting progress toward health disparities elimination goals -- Evaluating impact of policies and programs to achieve health disparities elimination
