Today the accumulated experience of the worldwide scientific community is bigger than what an individual mind can assimilate and process to extract �actionable knowledge� to address a specific challenge and/or to genuinely create �new knowledge� when there is no useful reference for action. This mismatch is called �Big Data� it manifest itself in the context of what we call the �Modern Colombian Exchange�.
