These comments on hand-washing to prevent the community spread of influenza, from Dr. Micheal Osterholm the lead scientist and head of the University of Minnesota�s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy, and Professor Donald A Henderson (former dean, John�s Hopkins School PH) are also, right on target! 

The relative ineffectiveness of hand-washing for preventing the community spread of influenza was never acknowledged by CDC, WHO, or any major health departments or by the news media!
