Here are several charts I�ve used over the past few years to illustrate what I mean by closing the real and most important gap and realizing the significant opportunities that exist today to save lives and reduce suffering. As we�ve redoubled our support for basic science and basic research and failed to follow through with prevention, health services, and intervention research and development, we have unintentionally widened the gap. |
