We base how we approach atherosclerosis timeline on a lot of epidemiologic information for populations. It is time we really need to individualize it.

The goal is going to be to define those who are going to develop the disease and to intervene much earlier.

We focus significant resources on the final right of the atherosclerosis timeline. We now have the ability to identify disease much earlier in this course and timeline, and to use effective therapies in appropriate individuals to improve outcome.
