This is more recent data from a project we just finished up: the ACES project, Aliquippa Colorectal Examination for Seniors. This was led by Joel. We did a little survey of physicians as part of that project in the Aliquippa area and asked them whether Medicare reimburse for flex sig. You see the majority said “no” or “don’t know” while 35% said “Yes, it does.” Obviously we have a long way to go in terms of getting providers there.
