(D) Deadlines for assignments and comments on lectures are necessary to allow the course to progress effectively. Otherwise, questions and comments from early lectures will flood later discussions at inopportune times. I found that effective discussion
waned after 5-6 days. You will need to consider time zone differences in setting deadlines.
(E) The Internet does not replace the university campus for education. There are many facets of learning on campus that cannot be conveyed through the Internet. It is possible to combine both campus-based and Internet-based teaching in a proposed course
