From the East End of Pittsburgh
- Take Fifth Ave or Forbes Ave to Negley Ave, and turn north onto Negley Ave
(toward Highland Park).
- Follow Negley Ave to Bryan St, and turn right onto Bryant St.
From the eastern suburbs (Monroeville, Murrysville, etc.)
- Take the Parkway East (Interstate 376) to the Edgewood/Swissvale Exit.
- After exiting, turn right onto South Braddock Ave.
- At the third traffic light, turn left onto Penn Ave, and follow until it
meets Penn Circle.
- Turn right onto Penn Circle, then follow the circle until you can turn
right onto Highland Ave.
- Follow Highland Ave past Stanton Ave, taking care to AVOID the Bryant St
on the right and Bryant Court on the left.
- Turn left at the stop sign onto Bryant St.
- Follow Bryant St several blocks through a business district, then you will
see The Nuin Center on the right.
From Route 28
- Take the Highland Park Bridge exit.
- Stay in the right lane on the bridge.
- At the end of the bridge, turn right onto Washington Blvd, which becomes
Butler St.
- At the first traffic light, turn left. This takes you past the Pittsburgh
Zoo.
- At the stop sign at the top of the hill, turn right.
- Go straight through the next intersection.
- The road will make a sharp right turn, then a sharp left turn, and becomes
Negley Ave.
- The third street after the "double turn" will be Bryant St.
- Turn left on Bryant St.
- The Nuin Center is on the left at the end of the second block (a white
building with a wrought iron fence around it).
From the Pennsylvania Turnpike
- Get off of the Turnpike at Exit 5.
- Go south on Route 28.
- Follow directions from Route 28 above.
From the Pittsburgh International Airport and the Parkway
West
- Take Route 60 South towards Pittsburgh. This highway laters becomes
Interstate 279 North, also known as the Parkway West.
- Follow I-279 North into Pittsburgh.
- As you exit the Fort Pitt Tunnels onto the Fort Pitt Bridge, get into the
far left lane in order to get on the Fort Duquesne Bridge.
- On the Fort Duquesne Bridge, get in the far right lane, and bear to the
right to stay on I-279 North.
- Take the next exit marked as "Chesnut St./Route 28" and follow the signs
to Route 28.
- Follow the directions from Route 28 above.
From the South via Interstate 79
- Take the exit for I-279 North to Pittsburgh
- Follow the directions from the Parkway West above.
From the North via Interstate 79
- Take the exit for I-279 South.
- As you approach the city, look for the Route 28 exit and take it.
- You will go through a couple of traffic lights.
- Turn left onto Ohio River Blvd. This leads you to Route 28 North.
- Follow directions from Route 28 above.
