RotAnimSlow Rotation of a spheroid with equivalent beta of 0.35 about axis perpendicular to symmetry axis
BetaVib10A35 This is a beta vibration of amplitude 0.1 about an equilibrium shape with beta = 0.35.
BetaVib20A00 This is a beta vibration of amplitude 0.2 about a spherical equilibrium shape.
TricyclePush The pedal of the tricycle is pushed forwards. Which way does the tricycle move? (This animation used Interactive Physics, not Mathematica.)
These animations were made from Mathematica animated cells. They were converted to animated gifs as follows: 1. Photoshop Elements was opened (on a Mac under System 9). 2. The Mathematica cell was opened so that all frames of the animation were visible. 3. One frame at a time was copied from Mathematica using Copy as PICT and Pasted into Photoshop, so that each frame formed a different Layer. 4. From File menu, Save For Web was chosen. 5. In the Save For Web window, I checked Animate, Loop, and chose Colors 6 and Frame Delay 0.2 6. After previewing in Internet Explorer, I clicked OK and saved the gif file. (Note that each animated gif is only ONE file.)
